Tarek Zia is the son of former President
of Bangladesh Late Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister of Bangladesh
Begum Khaleda Zia. He was born on November 20, 1964. He brought up &
studied at Dhaka, Bangladesh.
His father Late President Ziaur Rahman
is the founder of Bangladesh Nationalist Party(BNP) & till now her mother
Begum Khaleda Zia is the Chairperson of BNP.
Tarek Zia started his political career
in 1988 by taking the membership of Gabtoli Upazila BNP, Bogra & later on
Bogra District BNP & now he is Senior Vice Chairman of Bangladesh
Nationalist Party Central Committee.
He is married to Dr. Zubaida Rahman
& they have one daughter Zaima Rahman
